For this class assignment, I needed to create a digital communications plan for a company of my choosing. Since I am currently working for the Department of Neurologic Surgery at Mayo Clinic, I decided to develop a plan that would focus on expanding our social media outreach.

Expanding our social media presence allows us to share Mayo Clinic's core values of respect, integrity, compassion, healing, teamwork, innovation, excellence and stewardship. It allows us the opportunity to extend our reach, engage with our patients, connect with our colleagues, and share our triumphs. It enables us to seek funding for important research and obtain the support of benefactors who want to help us make a difference. It has the potential to increase referrals, broaden our share of voice, and amplify our influence exponentially.
